Kargo Tech Profile

Kargo is more than a logistics company. Founded in 2018, Kargo has redefined logistics through continuous innovation and technology-led execution, delivering seamless, reliable, and scalable logistics solutions for leading brands.

Since 2018, Kargo has emerged as a leading solution to address various challenges and demands in logistics delivery. The company operates as a marketplace platform that connects transporters and shippers, enabling more efficient and streamlined logistics operations.

Kargo aims to transform Indonesia’s $250 billion logistics industry through the adoption of modern technology. Currently, much of the country’s supply chain processes still rely on manual methods such as phone calls and paper-based systems, resulting in inefficiencies, including underutilized trucks operating without full loads.

Kargo addresses these issues by providing an integrated online platform that connects shippers and receivers, offering more efficient and environmentally sustainable delivery solutions.

Vision and Mission

Vision

Be The Most Trusted Logistics Platform, The Most Efficient Logistics with Technology and Market Leader in the Southeast Asia region.

Mission

To serve as a bridge connecting customers and driver-partners by providing a progressive platform.

Behind the Merger

The rationale behind the merger is to strengthen the company’s capabilities and strategically expand its service offerings. In 2024, the company reached a significant milestone through the acquisition of TheLorry, enabling the integration of specialized SME last-mile logistics and moving services into its existing ecosystem.

Through this strategic move, the company now operates with a dual-focused model: Kargo Tech delivers robust B2B solutions for corporate bulky-item distribution, while TheLorry provides agile B2C and SME services, ranging from residential moving to ad-hoc logistics fulfillment. This integration is expected to create operational synergies, enhance efficiency, and deliver greater value across all customer segments.
